My Bloody Valentine (2009)It's Halloween week! This week is full of preview trailers for upcoming horror films - it's Friday @ the Rant every day. Today we're looking at the remake of My Bloody Valentine.
The remake is in 3-D and the trailer and poster celebrate that fact with amazing fervor. It's fantastic ... if you go for such things. We love 3-D @ the Rant, so this scores marks a-plenty for us. This looks like so much stupid fun it's rediculous. Yeah, this movie can't be good, but it does look fun - and the producers and/or marketing team seem to know that. Pushing the 'date movie' aspect looks to be a smart, smart move on getting more movies goers in the theater seats.
My Bloody Valentine is directed by Patrick Lussier and written by Todd Farmer and Zane Smith. The movies stars Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Edi Gathegi and Andrew Larson.
