Blood: The Last Vampire (2009)First it was a successful Manga, then a successful Anime feature. Now, "Blood: The Last Vampire" is a feature length live action motion picture. This movie looks promising. Wondering if this will change the direction of J-Horror - maybe more action oriented story telling.
B:LV is directed by Chris Nahon, director of "Empire of the Wolves" and Jet Li's "Kiss of the Dragon" and is written by Kenji Kamiyama and Katsuya Terada. The cast includes Gianna Jun (Jun Ji-Hyun), Masiela, Liam Cunningham, JJ Feild, Koyuki and Michael Byrne. At one time, Ronny "Freddy Vs Jason" Yu was set to direct but is now a credited as a producer.
